Unfortunately, just like in all action sports there are inherent risks involved. For us; we realized one of those risks as the result of a rope wrap up accident. It involved the complete dislocation and separation of a young ladies arm. The accident was horrific for all involved and has caused lifelong scarring, not only physically but emotionally as well. With all that being said we are happy to report that she has over 70% of the function back in her arm and is once again enjoying the sport we all love.

This event among others inspired the creation and invention of the Joystick wake surf rope. As you can see there is no triangle on our rope, this eliminates any chance of getting caught up in the handle in the event of a fall. The Joystick wake surf rope also has a multiple function bungee that keeps the rope from dragging in the water or getting under the surf board while getting set up in the wave. The bungee also has an adjustable rebound effect that sends the rope back to the swim deck when the rope is released by the rider. The rope is also adjustable depending on the size of your boat and how much rebound you would like it to have.
